The Woodhaven Richmond Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps (WRHVAC) was established in 1965 and has been servicing the communities of Woodhaven, Richmond Hill and Kew Gardens ever since.

Aside from offering Emergency Medical Service the ambulance corps also offers medical transports from home to medical facility or from hospital to hospital.

The ambulance corps also participates in many community events throughout the year including, but not limited to, the Wonderful Woodhaven Street Fair and the Richmond Hill Park Fair.
